Cognitive Behaviour Therapy & EMDR

Used to reduced symptoms of various mental health conditions such as anxiety and depression, this psycho-social intervention is used to reduce debilitating symptoms associated with such conditions. The aim is to help manage problems by changing certain thoughts and behaviours.

CBT
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy may be recommended because it is effective for a variety of issues such as anxiety, depression and stress. It focuses on identifying and changing negative thought patterns and behaviours. CBT is provided by suitably qualified mental health professionals such as Psychologists, Psychiatrists and CBT Therapists.

EMDR
Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing is a Psychotherapy approach that is used to help individuals process and heal from traumatic experiences. It can be used to treat depression, anxiety, panic disorders, chronic pain and addiction. EMDR is provided by suitably qualified mental health professionals such as Psychologists and Psychiatrists.

  • We will contact your client to discuss their specific needs, including whether treatment needs to be conducted on a face-to- face basis and their appointment availability.
  • Sourcing and vetting of a clinician with the relevant expertise for your client.
  • The mental health clinician will contact your client to arrange a mutually convenient appointment.
  • We understand the importance of regular attendance to support and promote recovery and will regularly check in with your client to track the progress of treatment.
  • We will monitor the progress of the treatment and provide updates as needed.
  • We can provide a report upon completion of the Initial Assessment, completion of authorised sessions and upon final treatment if required.
