Limb Reconstruction

Reconstruction techniques such as an external fixator or frame are used to reconstruct a bone or joint which may be the wrong shape or length and which causes its general function to be affected and is a subspeciality of orthopaedic surgery. The treatment increases the length of a bone while also stretching the surrounding muscles, tendons, and ligaments.
